About Unrip

Hey there I’m Alex, the creator of Unrip. I’ve been active in the latex community since 2013. In that time, I’ve experienced countless rips and had to teach myself all the techniques of repairing latex clothing. Nothing beats the feeling of latex, but the risk of a rip can ruin the experience. With Unrip, you can easily repair your latex clothes and get back to being shiny!

The History of Unrip
Unrip was first discovered in 2022, and it started as an accident. As usual for any rubberist, I was repairing a catsuit. After using mineral spirits to clean a latex patch, I prematurely applied packaging tape to the patch before the solvent had fully dried. Upon removing the packaging tape, all the glue previously on the tape had transferred onto the latex patch.
This sparked an idea! Why couldn't I use adhesive like a roll of tape for applying latex repair patches?
This idea sparked a year long investigation. Throughout 2023, I experimented with many different adhesives, primers, and manufacturing methods.
By 2024, I had dialed in on the right combination of materials to officially create Unrip! It started small, selling kits out of a backpack at local bar nights and kink contests. By August, Unrip officially launched online.
I'm incredibly excited to see where Unrip's journey goes from here. Thank you so much for taking a look at my small business and being a part of the Unrip story. This continues to be an exiting and meaningful adventure for me.
